SmartX Europe has opened the second call for Expressions of Interest for innovative projects in the smart textiles manufacturing chain. It is intended for European SMEs and start-ups within the smart textile and related sectors.
The Expression of Interest is a necessary first step before the formal project application. This short, confidential document will help us understand your innovative project and assess if it could be eligible for SmartX support. We encourage you to search our directory for potential project partners. The second call for formal applications will open on June 15, 2020.
The call is open to teams led by an SME (under the EU definition) or start-up legally based in EU member states or H2020-associated countries.
Projects must be focused on driving an existing prototype through the manufacturing chain or at least parts of it. Applicants must demonstrate the implementation of ideas for the tackle markets (Protection, Health and Well-being, Industrial) and add value to existing markets.
